ROONEY PRAISES GREGORY FOR NOTTINGHAM IMPACT
Derby County boss Wayne Rooney has praised Lee Gregory for his impact on the English Championship game at the weekend. Wayne Rooney was full of praise for the Stoke City loaneeafter his performance as a second half substitute during the league game at home to Nottingham Forest. Wayne Rooney and his Derby County players were able to secure a point at home to Nottingham Forest to edge further to safety as far as the English Championship is concerned this season. Derby County had trailed 1-0 for the major part of the game before Colin Kazim-Richards scored the equaliser six minutes from time. Nottingham Forest were the visitors and they took the lead through Manchester United loanee James Garner. Red Devils midfielder James Garner is on loan at Nottingham Forest from Manchester United. He scored the first goal of the game on 33 minutes but his team could not hold on to that advantage.
Derby County manager Wayne Rooney has impressed in his first managerial job and he has been able to take the club out of the relegation zone. The point at home to Nottingham Forest took the Rams nine points clear of Rotherham United in the third and final relegation spot.
